What a phenomenon! When we introduced laser dentistry to our practice 10 years ago we were performing simple laser dentistry for fillings.

                    Now…we are using lasers for Fillings, Surgery and Implants!!!

When using the laser for your fillings, it is rare you would even need to have any anesthetics. It works so quickly you will be in and out of the dental chair before you know it. I have yet to see a 'first-time' laser patient finish their office visit without a big Wow! and a big smile on their face. The laser can not be used in a tooth that contains metal.

When used for surgical procedures, there are also occasions we may not require any anesthetics. This does depend upon which procedure we are performing. The major advantage of the laser with surgical treatment is that it performs  quickly, and since it cauterizes as it treats the patient we have experienced less bleeding and enhanced healing for our patients.  All this creates a much more comfortable healing experience.

When used for cosmetic purposes, the same concept applies. We can use the laser to simplify a variety of oral corrections that may be requested:

---even crooked gum lines

---correct 'gummy' smiles by reducing the length of gum line

---periodontal pocket reductions  (eliminating the need for surgery)

----remove fibromas (big bumps in your mouth)

----remove angiomas  (purple spots on your lip)

---many more procedures Dr. Miller may recommend if appropriate.

                   Most or all of this treatment performed without cutting and without sutures!!
